International News: Shooting at birthday party in Alabama leaves 4 people dead

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Police in Alabama are investigating a shooting that left 4 people dead on Saturday night. 

The shooting erupted at a birthday party at a dance studio in downtown Dadeville.

According to the Associated Press, police are urging the community to come forward with information.

Promising student, “Phil” Dowdell, a senior who had  committed to Jacksonville State University, was celebrating at his sister Alexis’ party before he was shot to death.

His mother was also injured in the shooting.

Police said that 4 people died and several more were injured.

The shooting has left the tight knit community shaken.

Chaplain Ben Hayes said that most of the victims were teenagers.
