By Breaking Belize News Staff: Improving weather conditions are expected today according to the National Meteorological Service. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be cloudy at times and scattered showers are predicted mainly over coastal and offshore areas this morning along with isolated thunderstorms. Activity will then gradually decrease to isolated areas.
High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees in inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 76 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots; seas run light chop.
Tides will be high at 8:41 this morning and 9:23 this evening and low at 3:10 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:09 this evening and rises Wednesday morning at 5:33.
Mainly fair weather is expected on Wednesday.
