Taiwanese students participate in Certification in English as a Second Language (CESL) program 2023 at UB

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Taiwan Embassy in Belize congratulates 3 Taiwanese students who enrolled in the Certification in English as a Second Language (CESL) program 2023 at the University of Belize.

Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, Lily Li-Wen Hsu attended the Orientation Ceremony program held by Regional Language Center at the University of Belize.

Attendees included Dian Maheia, CEO of Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, Dr. Vincent Palacio, President of UB and Dr. Sherlene Enriquez-Savery, Vice President of UB.

“Chere Wang, Selena Su, and Angel Wu were all excited to come to Belize to study English and get to know the beautiful country,” the embassy noted.

Ambassador Hsu wished them a fruitful and enjoyable study in Belize and encouraged them to share Taiwan’s culture as well.
