Woman and two youths charged for being in possession of Lasko fan stolen from her neighbour

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City woman, her son and another youth were all charged for being in possession of a fan stolen from the woman’s neighbour.

Thirty-eight-year-old Chinique Kemp, 18-year-old Leslie Young, and a 17-year-old minor, were jointly charged in connection with a $65 Lasko fan which was one of several items reported stolen in a recent burglary.

They all pleaded not guilty and were granted bail in the sum of $1,000 each plus one surety of the same amount which they met. They are due back in court on May 11, 2023.

Police reportedly found the fan during a search of Kemp’s home conducted on April 12.
