Celebrate Earth Day by planting a tree!

Posted: Thursday, April 20, 2023. 2:02 pm CST.

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Earth Day 2023 is being observed on April 22 under the theme “Invest in Our Planet.”

The Belize Audubon Society is inviting Belizeans to celebrate Earth day by planting cedar and mahogany trees.

“You can pick up a tree at our office at 16 Taiwan Street in Belize City or at the Guanacaste National Park in Belmopan. Trees will be available for pick-up throughout the week while supplies last,” the Belize Audubon Society noted.

In addition, Belizeans can take a selfie with your tree and post it to your Facebook or Instagram account with the hashtags #GreeningacrossBelize and #BelizeAudubonsociety.

Invest in our planet by doing your part.
