Students at University of Belize plant trees in honor of Earth day 2023

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Earth Day 2023 is being observed on April 22 under the theme “Invest in Our Planet.”

The Belize Audubon Society (BAS) joined efforts with the University of Belize as it prepared to celebrate Earth Day.

The Belize Audubon Society noted that the University of Belize’s dynamic science programs have produced graduates who are leaders in conservation.

BAS’ Community Liaison Manager Lucito Ayuso donated trees that the students from the environmental club planted across the Belmopan campus.
