Belize Audubon Society, PACT, and Department of Youth Services join efforts for Earth Day

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Earth Day 2023 is being observed on April 22 under the theme “Invest in Our Planet.”

Today, the Belize Audubon Society, the Protected Areas Conservation Trust, 4H and the Department of Youth Services joined efforts for a productive celebration of Earth Day 2023 at the Guanacaste National Park (GNP) in Belmopan.

The Belize Audubon Society (BAS) Rangers and the organizations cleaned up areas around the park and planted Trees.

“BAS is grateful for the partnership with these organizations that donated their time and efforts to help us to keep our publics spaces clean and contribute to our development by planting trees,” the Belize Audubon Society said.

You are encouraged to pick up a plant at the BAS office in Belize City or at Guanacaste National Park and invest in our planet by planting.
