New Digital Connect Center inaugurated in Bullet Tree Village

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On April 20, 2023, the Ministry of E-governance through its partnership with the Taiwan Embassy and Taiwan ICDF inaugurated a Digital Connect Center in Bullet Tree Falls Village, Cayo District.

Last month, the first Digital Connect Center in the Cayo District was inaugurated in San Ignacio.

Attendees at today’s ceremony included Cayo North Area Representative, Michel Chebat and Taiwan Ambassador to Belize Lily Li-Wen Hsu.

The Government of Belize continues to open Digital Connect Centers throughout the country, improving digital connectivity and addressing the digital divide in rural communities in Belize.
