By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, seasonally hot and dry weather will prevail. The 24-hour forecast is for partly cloudy to clear skies and hot temperatures, then tonight fair and warm with no rainfall expected.
High temperatures range from 91 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 99 degrees over inland areas and 86 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 80 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect and residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible today.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots. Seas are running choppy.
Tides will be high at 10:49 this morning and low at 6:19 this evening. The sun sets at 6:10 this evening and rises at 5:31 Sunday morning.
Expect generally fair, warm and dry conditions that will continue on Sunday and Sunday night.
