Minister of Sustainable Development encourages Belizeans to “Invest in our planet”

Minister of Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management, Orlando Habet joins millions across “Mother Earth” to express love through continued efforts of investing in our Earth; combating climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss.

On April 21, 2023, Minister Habet, joined by Chief Environmental Officer Anthony Mai and Environmental Officer Jorge Franco promoted the Ministry’s actions by planting Mahogany trees at their compound in Belmopan.

“We continue to promote harmony with nature and encourages everyone to do so,” the Ministry said.
