Taiwan ICDF and Belizean medical professionals engage in training for assistant radiographers

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Health and Wellness says that last week, a series of training sessions concluded for assistant radiographers countrywide as part of the TaiwanICDF Project – Strengthening Medical Imaging System.

During March and April, training sessions were done at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital with three different groups.

Topics included radiology principals, terminologies, positioning skills, image quality and work safety.

In May, participants that concluded the training will be required to successfully pass a final exam to be certified as part of the training course.
