Trio of missing persons from weekend all confirmed safe

Posted: Monday, April 24, 2023. 8:27 am CST.

By Aaron Humes: Breaking Belize News has been made to understand that three persons reported missing over the weekend from the Belize and Cayo Districts have all been located and marked as safe.

This morning we were informed by the mother of 14-year-old Lamisha Moody of Belize City, who was reported missing on Friday, that she has been located and the police informed.

Police reported on Sunday that fisherman Lyle Leslie of Caye Caulker returned home after being reported missing on Saturday when he could not be located following a fishing trip.

And Belmopan resident Briana Joseph is back home safely after she could not be located on Friday night, having gone to a nearby store.

Police treat all missing persons investigations as serious so kindly do not wait to call them so that a search and inquiries may be conducted. We also advise persons who may need to be away to inform their family or a trusted contact to ensure no need to worry.
