Cayo pride; Father-son football legacy

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Cayo Football Association highlighted the talents of popular football star, Marlon Meza and his son, Marlon Meza Jr. who is now a part of the Westline FC football club.

Marlon Jr. is traveling with the Male U-15 National Team enroute to Costa Rica.

Marlon Jr. is a proud Santa Elena native and his talent has proven to be exceptional.

Both father and son hail from Santa Elena, Cayo and continue to share their talents proudly representing Belize.

“Our hearts are with you, as you begin a new path in your football career. Stay focused and work hard, as you go out there and display your talents on the big stage,” the Cayo Football Association said.

Marlon Jr. is a proud graduate of Santa Elena Primary and the school recently extended congratulations on his achievements.

Marlon Jr. is currently a student at Saint Ignatius High School in Santa Elena, Cayo.
