Join the 2023 Cancer Awareness Walk in Belize City

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Every year, May is observed as a month to raise awareness on bladder cancer, brain cancer, melanoma and skin cancer.

Activities are geared towards bringing the community together to raise awareness and educate people about cancer.

The Belize Cancer Society is hosting a Cancer Awareness Walk on May 27, 2023 in Belize City.

The walk will commence at the Marion Jones Stadium and go through the principal streets of Belize City.

Participants can contribute by purchasing t-shirts costing $35, hats at $45 at drifits at $60.

The walk will commence at 5 a.m.
