International News: Mexican navy seizes thousands of tequila bottles with liquid meth

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Monday, the Mexican Navy announced that it had seized almost 10 tons of liquid methamphetamine hidden in 11,520 bottles of tequila.

According to CNN, law enforcement officials used sniffer dogs and a chemical identification system and found 960 boxes and tequila bottles the port of Manzanillo, Mexico.

The laboratory confirmed the drug to be meth.

The Mexican Navy noted that for this year, it has destroyed about 114 tons of meth.
