Taiwan Ambassador to Belize and BELTRAIDE discuss economic cooperation

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On April 26, 2023, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, Lily Li-Wen Hsu met with Dr. Leroy Almendarez, Executive Director of the Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE).

Discussions included relating to Taiwan-Belize Economic Cooperation Agreement (ECA), women empowerment and supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Belize.

The Taiwan Embassy says that it will continue to work closely with the Government of Belize to promote strong trade and investment ties between our two countries.
