Police looking for two persons in Thursday night murder of Sylvian Swift

By Aaron Humes: Two persons are being sought for a fatal shooting on Antelope Street near Central American Boulevard on Thursday night.

30-year-old Sylvian Swift and others were socializing around a quarter to eight when two men rode by on a motorcycle and one of them opened fire on the group. Swift was fatally injured his killers proceeded toward Central American Boulevard.

A police officer in the area responded and pursued the men after they refused to stop at his order. His gunfire resulted in the men falling from their motorcycle and dropping the suspected murder weapon, a 9-millimetre pistol, on the street; however, they eluded him after a further pursuit.

Police continue their investigations.
