Murder victim Adrian Pook’s family members subdue and bring in accused killer

By Aaron Humes: Police investigation into the murder of Adrian Pool this morning on Ordonez Street, Lake Independence, suggests that his accused killer lay in wait for him in his own yard.

Pook was walking on an unnamed street adjacent to his yard when he was shot from the shooter’s hiding spot inside the yard.

But the accused shooter was quickly apprehended and subdued by family members of his alleged victim, receiving stab injuries for his trouble. His firearm was taken away and police were called and transported both men to the hospital. Pook was pronounced dead there before 10 a.m. while the accused remained there in stable condition.

Police investigations continue.
