By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 57-year-old Belize City woman had her bicycle stolen from right in front of the Belize City Magistrate’s Court building on Coney Drive this week.
On Thursday, Emily Bethran came to the courthouse, on her bicycle, to attend a civil matter and parked it in the rack at the building. She reportedly went inside without locking the bike when her matter was called up, and when she came back out the bicycle was gone.
Bethran made a formal report to police and officers have informed her that they are reviewing surveillance footage from the courthouse cameras as part of an ongoing investigation.
The bicycle was valued at $300.
