By Breaking Belize News Staff: Forty-year-old Jerome Crawford, who is accused of the murder of his former boss 66-year-old Owen Tucker is headed back to court later this month.
Crawford had made four previous court appointments to learn that the disclosure against him had not been prepared, however, on his appearance last week, the prosecution presented only a portion of his disclosure to him.
Crawford was given 206 pages of documentary evidence along with 11 photos of the alleged crime scene where Tucker’s body was found.
He is due back in court on May 23 for the remainder of his disclosure.
Tucker was reported missing on November 25, 2022. The following week, his charred remains were found in Lemonal Village. Crawford confessed to the murder even before the officers had found the body, but along the process decided to plead not guilty instead.
