By Rubén Morales Iglesias: After losing the three Group B games, Belize will play Nicaragua for seventh place in the U-15 Uncaf Boys FIFA Forward Championship in Costa Rica.
The match should be played on Thursday at 11:00 am.
Both countries finished without a point in group play though Nicaragua played more competitive games than Belize. Belize lost 4-1 to Guatemala, 7-0 to Honduras, and 12-2 to Panama while Nicaragua fell 3-1 to El Salvador, 3-2 to Puerto Rico, and 5-4 to Costa Rica.
Meanwhile, Guatemala and Costa Rica qualified first in their groups and will face each other to determine the Central American champions.
Today, Guatemala beat Honduras 3-1 while Costa Rica triumphed over Nicaragua 5-4.
In the other game on Tuesday, El Salvador beat Puerto Rico 3-0.
