Belize Coast Guard and Belize Defence Force officer to participate in National Development Course in Taiwan

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, Lily Li-Wen Hsu met with Captain Gregory Soberanis, Vice Commandant of the Belize Coast Guard, and Lt. Colonel Clifton Williams, Commanding Officer of Belize Defence Force.

Commandant Soberanis and Lt. Colonel Williams will soon depart to Taiwan to attend a one–month National Development Course held by National Defense University of Taiwan.

“We wish Captain Soberanis and Lt. Colonel Williams a productive and enjoyable visit and look forward to continuing strong partnership between the government of Taiwan and Belize,” the Taiwan Embassy said.
