Belize face Nicaragua for 7th place in U-15 Uncaf Boys FIFA Forward Championship on Thursday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize take on Nicaragua for seventh place today (Thursday) at 10:00 am in the U-15 Uncaf Boys FIFA Forward Championship at Liga Deportiva Alajuelense’s High Performance Center in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Both Belize and Nicaragua finished in last place in their groups after losing their three group play games and will today go for a win to avoid finishing in last place of the regional tournament. In the first round, in Group B, Belize lost 4-1 to Guatemala, 7-0 to Honduras, and 12-2 to Panama. For their part, in Group A, Nicaragua fell 3-1 to El Salvador, 3-2 to Puerto Rico, and 5-4 to Costa Rica.

Guatemala and Costa Rica, who qualified first in their groups, play for the Central American championship.

El Salvador match up against Panama for third place while Puerto Rico and Honduras challenge each other for fifth place.
