Belize Weather: Seasonally warm and dry

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies and hot temperatures today, and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Isolated showers or thunderstorms are expected over the extreme south this morning but little to none elsewhere.

High temperatures peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 96 degrees in the interior and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is light chop to choppy, becoming moderate.

Tides will be high at 8:42 this morning and 9:57 this evening and low at 3:46 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:13 this evening and rises at 5:24 Friday morning.

Current weather conditions are expected to continue through Friday.
