Belize Ambassador to Taiwan, Dr. Candice Pitts host Belize Coast Guard and BDF officers in Taiwan

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On May 4, 2023, Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan, Dr. Candice Pitts attended a reception in honor of Captain Gregory Soberanis, Vice Commandant of the Belize Coast Guard and Lieutenant Clifton Williams of the Belize Defense Force.

Captain Soberanis and Lieutenant Williams are in Taiwan participating in the National Development Course for Generals and Admirals.

The course is 4 weeks in duration and ends on May 19th, 2023.

Captain Soberanis performed the official Belize Coast Guard Song, “Utrinque Paratus.”

Ambassador Pitts congratulated Captain Soberanis on such a patriotic gesture.
