By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, seasonally hot and dry conditions will continue to dominate our weather. The 24-hour forecast is for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells. Tonight will be partly cloudy with no rainfall.
High temperatures range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast to 97 degrees over inland areas and 89 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 80 degrees along the coast, 73 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect and residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible today.
Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. Seas are running light chop.
Tides will be high at 10:20 this morning and low at 5:02 this evening. The sun sets at 6:14 this evening and rises at 5:23 Monday morning.
Expect continuing hot and dry conditions on Monday and Monday night.
