Hattieville man allegedly found in possession of stolen laptop

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Hattieville man is out on bail after being charged with a single count of handling stolen goods.

Forty-seven-year-old Calbert Reynolds appeared unrepresented in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court where he pleaded not guilty to the charge.

There was no objection to bail and it was granted to him in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount which he met. He was cautioned to not have any contact with the virtual complainant at any time while the matter is before the court.

Reynolds is due back in court on July 5.

Allegations against him are that on May 3, he was found in possession of a Lenovo laptop which the complainant had reported stolen.
