Police Department holding interviews for candidates who sat Squad 97 recruitment exam

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Police Department announced this week that physical assessments and interviews for those who sat the Squad No. 97 recruitment exam are about to commence.

The department issued a notice this week saying that the assessments will begin on Monday, May 22 and that eligible candidates will be contacted by phone and/or email with the date, time, and instructions for them to present themselves at the National Police Training Academy for testing.

“Candidates will be required to run and perform body-weight exercises in the physical assessment and should be adequately prepared,” the department said.

The intake exam for Squad No. 97 was held on April 22.
