Belize Weather: Fair and fine weekend weather

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A moderate easterly airflow prevails supporting sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight according to the National Meteorological Service. Showers will be isolated but isolated thunderstorms will develop in inland areas this afternoon.

High temperatures peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 93 degrees over inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 81 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees over inland areas and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots with higher gusts and sea state moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.

Tides will be low at 10:38 this morning and 11:49 this evening and high at 4:47 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:16 this evening and rises at 5:21 Sunday morning.

Weather will be generally fair on Sunday though skies will be cloudy at times and a few showers and isolated thunderstorms should be expected mainly over southern and inland areas.
