BEBL fans vote Griga’s D’von Campbell, Canes’ Kris Frazier to captain All Star Teams for All Star Game; five each from Griga, Canes, Rebels selected

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The BEBL fans have voted Griga Dream Ballers D’von Campbell as the most liked player and the Benny’s Belize Hurricanes’ Kris Frazier as the second most liked. These two players will now captain the two All Star Teams that will clash against each other at the All Star Game on Saturday, May 20 at 9:00 pm at the Russell ‘Chiste’ Auditorium in Dangriga.

Five players each from the Hurricanes, Griga, and Orange Walk have been selected along with three each from the San Pedro Tiger Sharks and the Western Ballaz. Only two from the Belize City Defenders and one from the Belmopan Red Taigaz made the selection. No player from the Punta Gorda Panthers was selected.

The 24 were selected from a pool of 40.

Edgar Mitchell, Glency Lopez, Delvon Henderson, Victor Evans, Dominique Woodson, Nigel Jones, Daniel Conorquie, and Jamell Harris join Campbell and Frazier in the Top Ten.

Campbell and Frazier will now select their teams in a live draft on the TNC sports show on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
