Belize Weather: Showers on the way out

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies at times with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over central and southern areas this morning, reduced to isolated activity this evening.

High temperatures are 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees in inland areas; and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northeasterly at five to 15 knots and seas run light chop.

Tides will be low at a quarter past one this afternoon, then high at 7:25 this evening. The sun sets at 6:17 this evening and rises at 5:20 Tuesday morning.

Generally fair weather is expected on Tuesday.
