Case management adjourned for Bladen 11 accused of drug plane landing says attorney “Dickie” Bradley

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The trial of the Balden 11, the name given to a group of men (four police officers and seven civilians) who are charged with facilitating the landing of a drug plane in southern Belize, has been adjourned in the Magistrate’s Court of Belize.

Attorney for several of the accused, Richard “Dickie ” Bradley, explained today that the lead prosecutor in the case, applied at the last minute for an adjournment, and after taking the factors presented into consideration, Senior Magistrate Baja Shoman granted the adjournment.

The prosecution has presented over 470 pages of document evidence for disclosure, which the attorneys of the accused will now be able to review for the next court appearance scheduled for next month.
