Friendly match between Belize Police and Melchor Police

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, members of the Belize Police department took on Melchor Police in a friendly match in Melchor. The match was the first of its kind event.

In an entertaining match, our officers played a high -powered offense which saw a total of 15 goals scored.

Belize edged out their cross-border colleagues with a final score of 9-6.

“The Mayor of Melchor was kind in his hosting and a return match in Belize is being anxiously organized. Respect to the ambassador caucus of police players who made us proud and represented us well,” the Ministry of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries said.
