International News: Children survived plane crash in Colombia found after 16 days in jungle

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Colombian authorities have found 4 children who survived a plane crash that occurred 2 weeks ago.

According to the BBC, the children spent 16 days in the jungle.

The children’s mother and other adults were killed in the crash.

Reports indicate that the children were located deep in the rainforest.

On Monday, 2 weeks after the plane disappeared, search teams found it and the bodies of the pilot and copilot and the children’s mom was discovered.

At the time, authorities didn’t see any trace of the children aged 13,9, 4 and 11 months.

Colombian President Petro tweeted saying they had been located “after an arduous search”.
