By Benjamin Flowers: Police have detained a second man connection with the investigation into the murder of 19-year-old Belmopan resident Imari Galvez.

Reports are that police detained Kareem James, also known as “Pumpkin”, for questioning. James is reportedly among the last few people to have seen Galvez alive. Galvez’s body was found near Mile 40 on the Hummingbird Highway earlier this week.

Kareem is the brother of the late Winston “Tanga” James, who was fatally shot in Belize City last year.

Last night, police also detained former national football team player Woodrow West for questioning in connection with Galvez’s murder.
