Taiwan Ambassador to Belize and Director of Toledo Cacao Growers Association discuss Chocolate Festival

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On May 17, 2023, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, Lily Li-Wen Hsu met with Orlando Coc, Managing Director of Toledo Cacao Growers Association to discuss the upcoming Chocolate Festival of Belize 2023.

The Cholocate Festival of Belize will be held on Friday, May 19 and Saturday May 20, 2023. 

Discussions included the Cacao development in Belize. 

“We wish the “Chocolate Festival of Belize 2023” and “Cacao Symposium” great success,” the Taiwan Embassy said.

All Belizeans are encouraged to discover the rich culture and flavors of Belizean chocolate while enjoying live music and entertainment. 

The event commences at 9am with the official cacao symposium at Maya House of Cacao in Mafredi Village.

The event will feature a chocolate gala at Copal Tree Lodge at 7pm on May 19.
