Houston Belize United face Broncos on Sunday to even the semifinals, to force a 3rd game in Chetumal’s 2nd Division Baseball Championship

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Houston Belize United (HBU) challenge Broncos of Calderitas in the second game of the semifinal series this coming Sunday at 10:00 am (9:00 am Belize time) at Calderitas.

HBU lost the first semifinal against Broncos 14 runs to 8 in the Mexican Chetumal 2nd Division ‘Pedro Sherif Casanova’ Baseball Championship at Calderitas last Sunday.

A win for HBU will force a third game. However, a loss gives Broncos the ticket to the Final Series against the winner of the series between Halcones of Chetumal and Lobos of Calderitas. Halcones won the first game 8-5 in that series.

Halcones and Lobos play their second at 1:00 pm (12:00 noon Belize time) on Sunday.
