By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers, if any, will be isolated, but there is a chance of an isolated thunderstorm developing over the mountains this afternoon.
High temperatures will reach 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 97 degrees over inland areas and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 81 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect for the interior and daytime outdoor activity should be avoided; residents of inland areas are advised to stay hydrated.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at zero to ten knots and sea state is slight.
Tides will be high at 9:46 this morning and 11:31 this evening and low at 5:20 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:19 this evening and rises at 5:18 Sunday morning.
Warm temperatures and limited showers are forecast for Sunday.
