By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Recently, Toledo Institute for Development and Environment (TIDE) Private Protected Lands (TTPL) Rangers Reymundo Chen and Juan Cucul conducted a patrol and rescued a female white-tailed deer.
The rangers say that the white-tailed deer was in water near drowned.
“We retrieved and released her safely back on the riverbank,” the rangers said.
TIDE says that the well-being of every single animal within the park is a high priority and they hope the deer is reunited with its family.
