By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belmopan City Council is organizing a candlelight vigil in memory of Belmopan resident, Imari Galvez.
Nineteen-year-old Imari Galvez was brutally murdered and her family believes that someone she trusted lured her to her death.
The candlelight vigil will commence at 5:30 pm today on Cemetery Road and go to the Sir George Brown Field.
Councilor Hope Amadi will be the director of ceremonies and the opening prayer will be delivered by Pastor Minelvia Santos of the Full Gospel Church of God Belmopan.
Welcome remarks will be given by Belmopan Mayor, Sharon Palacio.
The vigil will also feature remarks by Area Representative, Oscar Mira.
Pastors Scott Stirm and Louis Wade will share a message.
Praise and worship will be led by the Church of the Nazarene Worship Team.
