Belmopan City Council sponsors basketballer Jayden Lopez to represent Belize in Masroor International Sports Tournament in New York City

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belmopan City Council said it is sponsoring Jayden Lopez to represent Belize at the upcoming basketball tournament – the Masroor International Sports Tournament – in New York City from Friday, May 26 to Monday, May 29.

Lopez had participated locally in the Ahmadiyya Basketball League which has been organized over the past eight years by Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Belize (AMJ Belize).  

The Ahmadiyya Basketball League is a tournament for youth under 25. The League has the objective of engaging youth in something positive.
