By Breaking Belize News Staff: Georgetown Technical High School announced it will be hosting its annual Business Fair on May 24, 2023. The event, set to take place on the school campus, will be hosted by Benjamin Garcia, a renowned social media influencer and proud alumnus of the institution.
The fair provides an opportunity for students to showcase the skills they’ve acquired over the past few months, demonstrating their proficiency in Problem-Based Learning. The public is invited to attend the event and view the impressive variety of products created by the school’s talented students. Several businesses will also be displaying their promotional products.
In a demonstration of the school’s dedication to practical learning, tools and equipment from a broad array of trades will be on display. These include plumbing, electrical, automotive, sewing, woodwork, agriculture, welding, and the hospitality and food and beverage industries.
Adding a fun twist to the proceedings, the day will feature games and giveaways, ensuring an enjoyable experience for attendees of all ages. Musical entertainment will be provided by local artist Huston “Hubee” Alvarez, who will light up the stage with his vibrant performances.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 am in the school’s auditorium, marking the beginning of a day filled with discovery, engagement, and entertainment.
