By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: There are several reports of stolen motorcycles in the Hillview Area of Santa Elena Town.
On Sunday night, a camouflage cycle was stolen from a family’s verandah in Hillview.
Liz Alas posted to Facebook seeking the community’s help in recovering her brother’s cycle that was stolen. She says that the cycle’s backseat cannot be lifted without the key and the speedometer is cracked and recognizable.
This morning, Adriana Mcclurg also posted to Facebook seeking the public’s help in locating her red Meilun cycle.
The cycle was taken from her verandah in Hillview on Monday night.
The cycle is a 200 Meilun red and white cycle.
Anyone with information can call Adriana at 655-3449.
Earlier this year, the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council issued an advisory cautioning owners to take precautionary measures to avoid becoming victims of motorcycle theft.
