By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation congratulated the recipients of the 2023 Long Service Awards organized by the Ministry of Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform and Religious Affairs.
Seventeen of its officers from the Fisheries Department and six from the Aviation Department were recognized for serving ten years or more. Some have served much more. Marvin Polanco, Chief Air Traffic Control Officer has served 30 years, while Marva Armstrong (First Class Clerk), Calman Hall (Fisheries Inspector) and Marsha Vargas (Fisheries Inspector) have served 20 years each.
“These awards recognize the years of service and dedication of our public servants who have reached a remarkable milestone in their careers,” MBECA said.
“We are proud of the commitment and hard work of our public servants, who have contributed significantly to the growth and development of our country’s blue economy and civil aviation sector. Their dedication and professionalism have made a significant impact on the progress we have made so far.”
MBECA said the long serving officers are an inspiration for their hard work, loyalty, and dedication.
