BEBL playoffs tip off on Friday in Belize City

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Elite Basketball League playoffs start this weekend on Friday and Saturday in Belize City and Orange Walk.

Number two seeded Benny’s Belize Hurricanes (10-4) host the third seeded Griga Dream Ballers (9-5) at the Belize City Civic Center on Friday night.

Then, on Saturday, the top seeded Orange Walk Running Rebels (10-4) will play against the visiting number four seeded San Pedro Tiger Sharks (9-5) at home at the Orange Walk Multi-Purpose Complex.

The semifinals will be three-game series with the higher ranked teams having two home games if the series go all the way.

The Final series will consist of five games.
