Belmopan resident receives keys to new home

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) handed over the keys to a brand new home to Belmopan resident, Joleen Martinez.

The home is a part of the government’s housing project, implemented through the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing.

Through this project, many families now have the opportunity to live in a safe, secure and comfortable environment with their families.

Minister of Infrastructure, Development and Housing Julius Espat noted recently that this administration, the People’s United Party administration believes that housing is a basic right just like access to food and water.

The Government of Belize says that this pilot project is in line with Plan Belize objectives.
