By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Wednesday, a magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck in the Gulf of Darien near the Panama-Colombia border.
According to Reuters, just minutes later a 4.9 mag aftershock hit the same location.
Panamanian and Colombian authorities said that there was no immediate reports of damages.
The U.S. Tsunami Warning System noted that there was no tsunami warning in place.
