Ministry of Infrastructure Development installs ‘cat eyes’ on Cristo Rey-San Antonio Road in Cayo

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) is this week working on improving the Cristo Rey-San Antonio Road in the Cayo District.

“Our MIDH Santa Elena Road Maintenance Unit is currently installing new cat eyes on the Cristo Rey – San Antonio Road,” the MIDH said in a social media post last week.

“If you’re a regular night driver you’ll know just what a difference these make. We’re committed to ensuring our roads are safe for motorists.”

Cristo Rey and San Antonio are villages near San Ignacio-Santa Elena.
