BEL announces emergency power outage in Cayo and Belize Districts to replace broken high voltage pole

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: BEL announced an emergency power outage for portions of the Cayo and Belize Districts on Saturday morning. BEL said its crews need to replace a broken high voltage pole due to a traffic accident near Mile 45 on the George Price Highway.

BEL said the power will be cut from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and will affect a portion of the George Price Highway from Mile 46 to La Democracia Village including Harmonyville, More Tomorrow, St. Matthews, Frank’s Eddy Village, and Mahogany Heights.
