By Aaron Humes: 27-year-old Alrick Lewis Lamb of Pelican Street was charged with threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend and common assault during a domestic dispute at her home.
The incident took place on May 22 and Lamb was arraigned on Friday before Magistrate Mannan Dennison for two counts of threat of death and one count of common assault.
The court prosecutor asked for conditions to be set for bail and the Magistrate offered bail of $1,000 subject to the following conditions: not to further interfere with the complainant or her family members; not to interfere with other prosecution witnesses directly or indirectly; not to communicate with the complainant, family members or other prosecution witnesses via social media including WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook Messenger; and to physically stay 100 feet away from the complainant. If any of these conditions are breached he faces revocation of his bail and remand to prison.
As of Friday, Lamb is on remand pending meeting bail and next returns to court on July 21.
